Contemporary Stained Glass

Picture
I absolutely love the excitement of  creating new contemporary glass designs.
It brings a thousand year old craft into line with today's lifestyles.

By taking a fresh look at the way glass can be used to enhance a space, and by utilising new materials, techniques and ideas, I can help you create an amazing wow factor for your home.
With a more contemporary outlook, the adventure and the boundaries can be pushed ever further. My g
lass can be used to create spectacular effects, by allowing light and colour into the space, and with the collaboration of the colours and textures I create works of art that you will love to live with and will get pleasure from every day.

Underlying everything i do, is the desire to create a lasting thing of beauty in the eye of the beholder -YOU  and over the years i have developed a vast array of glassworking skills that enable me to realise some amazing visions- and ideas for my customers.
I will stop at nothing to create a way to get an effect that elevates my work.

So if you have a space that needs something special  and you like glass colour light and texture Call me now to have a chat and find out more about how i can give your home a creative lift.

Over  the years I have been asked to create many stained glass windows for places of worship.

Christ The Risen Saviour (right)
was by far the most challenging to produce..
Installed in 2005 and dedicated to Pope John Paul II

This monumental wall of glass is in fact an illuminated screen as the solid wall behind it had no natural daylight.
The Screen rises 8.6 meters to the ceiling and comprises of thousands of individual panes cut to millimeter precision before being set between two panes of toughened glass. The whole image is constructed without the use of traditional leadwork and appears to float behind the alter.
